Warranty
KAILANI SPORTS provides 5-Year Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner. The warranty does not cover the seal gasket (if torn) or any contents of the case. Cooler or Storage Cases must be properly closed with no defects or damage to the O-Ring gasket or valve to fully cover warranty. If the case breaks, manufacturer will replace at no cost if you are the original owner of the case. Damaged handles, latches, valves, and gaskets can all be replaced and will be supplied at no charge in the case of any defect.
To request parts, you must have original receipt or purchase agreement and must have a Return Authorization (RA) number from KAILANI SPORTS. All warranty claims of any nature are void if the carrying case has been altered or changed in any way, including adding non-OEM aftermarket accessories.
KAILANI SPORTS will replace any broken or defective product, at our sole discretion.
Proof of purchase must be provided upon request to verify warranty coverage, so please retain a receipt for your records.

I recently purchased the model 60 and took a 6 day back country camping trip with it in our canoe. The performance of this cooler was absolutely amazing, we were shocked with how much ice was left when we finally got back home.
I pre-chilled the cooler the night before by putting a bag of ice in it then replacing it in the morning. We filled about 25% of the space with ice, using frozen 1.8 litre bottles in a single layer and ice cubes to fill the remaining holes. We filled the rest of the cooler with food, some of it was frozen. At the end of day 6, the bottle in the middle was still frozen solid and the rest were about half frozen with a few ice cubes remaining as well. I wouldnt have been suprised if the ice didnt last another 2 to 3 days! For context the temperatures during our trip were highs around 25 degrees Celsius.
In conclusion I would give this cooler a 5 star plus rating. The rubber molded handles are very comfortable and are fixed in the middle of the strap. It provides 2 metal reinforced locking points to keep critters out. The cooler is very solid construction. The only negative thing I could say is, for the type of back country trip we took, this cooler fully loaded was very heavy!

Hi there, the basket is useful for those little things that slide down and get lost within the larger items in the cooler. I would say you could also fit two or three pop cans in the basket. It isn’t as deep as I thought it would be, which is nice because if you use blocks of ice to keep the cooler’s cold, the basket won’t be pushed up by the ice and the cooler’s lid can close properly. I have the Shaka 35 cooler basket. Buy two of you want baskets across the entire top of the cooler.
